Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an application that allows you to save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and the amount of water your mop consumes.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles helps it avoid running over wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are essential in my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is more than any robot vacuum we have tested to date. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on an object.
The mopping function is impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. www.robotvacuummops.uk has an automatic mop lifting system, which will lift the pad as it moves from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on par other hybrids I've tested.
This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with its only downsides being that it's costly. The number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The high price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also includes an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well across all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for mopping, and dries its mop pads for you. It also has a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.
Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I tried The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. Additionally the mops aren't efficient in removing stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out, and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require replacement every few months.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest an easier model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could buy however, its cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of a want than need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself which makes it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot, and it is constantly filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank onboard holds a good amount of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
As with most robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you opt for this option, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.
Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a space and moved around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with longer piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean all areas mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but might not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be a problem for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's a good alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition, and it helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
